Shopping in Eilat is an integral part of any vacation, and Eilat has the added incentive of being a free-trade zone where everything can be purchased free of value added tax.

Most of Israel’s chain stores have branches and boutiques here where you can buy Israeli and international fashions, gifts and cosmetics.

You can also find numerous souvenirs to take back home. Among the most popular items is the beautiful Eilat Stone Jewellery, necklaces, earrings and brooches with polished green and turquoise malachite in a variety of settings in silver and gold.

Most of the shops are located in the modern air-conditioned Hilton Q.S Mall, Le Boulevard, Big Center and Mall Hayam, but you can often find bargains in the smaller centers. Browsing in Eilat’s market, or souk, can result in great finds and Egyptian souvenirs and crafts can also be found.
